The world is just getting weirder everyday, First it was ISIS detonating bombs via Nokia 110 now its Terrorists Using Facebook As Weapons Marketplace.
Facebook was recently persuaded to shut down six of its web pages which were allegedly being used as “arms bazaars,”for terrorists. Some of these pages have even been operating in places like Syria, Iraq, Yemen & Libya.

The pages describe everything from small arms to “guided anti-tank missiles, and an early generation of shoulder-fired heat-seeking missiles.” The finding was made by a consulting firm called Armament Research Services. It documented 97 attempted transfers of these unregulated weapons on Faceebook since Sep 2014. These online arms sales began when Facebook introduced other payment methods on its platform. Although it has a strict no-arms sales policy, terrorists are obviously violating it. Other platforms like Whatsapp, Instagram, and Telegram are also popular platforms for arms dealing.

Our advice to Facebook users, be careful what you say, post, share, like and react to on Social Media. Someone is watching somewhere. Whatsapp and Telegram group admins should also take note of what is been discussed in there groups.
